First Easy-Glider X6 "made in China"

Again we can add a new milestone the easy-glider history.. Last week we received the first prototype „Made in China“ (the one with the brighter steering-bar and the warning label is the new one).

The prototype was checked thoroughly, taken apart and reassembled. Each component was measured, the glider was driven and a detailed report with all findings was written and documented with pictures. The conclusion: it has been a real relief to find the prototype produced to a very good standard and we are certain the technology transfer to our Chinese partner will be a success. Obviously there are still bits and pieces, some purely cosmetic and some are technical, to be solved but our partner in China is already working to solve these issues. The difference between the “Swiss Made” and the “Made in China” is hardly recognizable. The major difference is in the steering bar – it was shortened by approx. 8 cm and the surface is not stainless steel but nickel-plated.

The delivery of the first 200 units from China we expect to leave production early Dec.
